DISPlay subsystem

The display subsystem controls the display of the power supply and is summarized in
11-1.

DISPlay:ENABle <b>
Parameters
This command is used to enable and disable the front panel display circuitry. When disabled,
the instrument operates at a higher speed. While disabled, the display is blank.
All front panel controls (except LOCAL) are disabled. Normal display operation can be
resumed by using the :ENABle command to enable the display or by putting the power supply
into local.

Description
Turn display on or off.
Set brightness for VFD display. Range 0–1.0
Changes the active display channel (1 for battery
and 2 for charger).
Text messages:
Define ASCII message "a" (up to 32 characters).
Enable or disable text message mode.
1. *RST or *RCL have no effect on the display circuitry and user-defined text messages.
2. :STATe <b> when power cycle enable is off <b> =(0)
3. This command is valid if DISP:ENAB is ON after a power cycle.
<b> = 0 or OFF
1 or ON
Blank display:<NRf> = 0
1/4 brightness:<NRf> ≤ 0.25
1/2 brightness:<NRf> ≤ 0.50
3/4 brightness:<NRf> ≤ 0.75
Full brightness:<NRf> ≤ 1.0
