3 Remove the cover plate from the slot into which you want to install the optional
module by unscrewing the two retaining screws. Figure 13 shows the retaining
screws being removed from slot 7.

4 If you are installing a CBR, Ethernet 10/100, DS3/E3, or four-port IMA expansion
module, skip to step 9. If you are installing a voice compression module, proceed
to step 5 to install the DSP CIMs.
5 Identify the five CIM sockets, located towards the rear of the Voice Compression
card. As shown in Figure 14, the first socket (the one closest to the components
on the card) is already populated with a RAM module.
