This chapter tells you how to access and manage system alarms for the
SuperStack II PathBuilder S330 and S310 WAN access switches (PathBuilder
S330/S310 switch) , how to use available loopbacks, and how to view
performance statistics for the PathBuilder S330/S310 switch. It contains the
following sections:

Managing System Alarms

Using Loopbacks
Viewing Performance and ATM Statistics
Viewing Virtual Circuit Statistics
The PathBuilder S330 switch detects certain events and reports corresponding
alarms and traps to the NMS station(s). These events are categorized as major
alarms, minor alarms, and information. When an alarm occurs, an alarm indicator
is displayed on the current menu or display, as described under "Alarm Indicator"
in Chapter 3.
To view a list of current alarms:
1 From the main menu, select [3] Fault Management to open the Fault Management
menu shown in Figure 148.
