Configuring Passwords to Control Management Access to the Router
Configuring a Password for Console Access
To configure a password for console access, complete these steps:
1.
Select Passwords in the navigation bar and scroll to the bottom of the
Add/Modify/Delete Users window.
2.
Select the Console tab.

Select the Use local user list option if you want to use the usernames and
passwords configured in this list for console access.
4.
Select the Use password option if you want to configure a separate
password for console access.
