Multipoint Video Conferencing using a RealPresence Collaboration Server Virtual Edition/800s
The Polycom RealPresence Collaboration Server, Virtual Edition, provides multipoint voice and video
conferencing in a VMware environment and is easily deployed using an Open Virtualization Format (OVA)
file.
The Polycom RealPresence Collaboration Server Virtual Edition / 800s unit can be controlled via the LAN,
by the Collaboration Server Web Client application, using Internet Explorer installed on the user's
workstation or the RMX Manager application. The RMX Manager can control several MCU units. For more

In the RealPresence Collaboration Server 800s unit, MCU management and IP conferencing are performed
via two different LAN ports. The networks can be separated in Maximum Security Environments.

RealPresence Collaboration Server Main Features

In the RealPresence CloudAxis Suite solution, the conferencing parameters are defined in the
RealPresence CloudAxis suite using its RealPresence System Manager, RealPresence Distributed
Media Application (DMA) system and the RealPresence Resource Manager (XMA) components.
