6.7.2 Edit TCP MSS Clamp

You can use the TCP MSS Clamp function to discover the optimal TCP MTU
(Maximum Segment Size) size automatically.
Click the Edit Tcp Mss Clamp tab in the LAN Connections > Advanced screen.

DESCRIPTION
You can select if you want to use DHCP.
If you select true, your P-794H can assign IP addresses, an IP default
gateway and DNS servers to Windows 95, Windows NT and other
systems that support the DHCP client.
If you select false, the DHCP server will be disabled.
Enter the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) or the largest packet size
per frame that your P-794H can receive and process.
You can enable extra checking of the source address for packets
received on this interface by selecting true. The system only accepts
packets from valid addresses that have already been identified.
Select false if you want to disable this function.
The Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) for IPv4 is a network
layer Internet rotocol that reports errors and provides other
information relevant to IP packet processing.
If you want to enable this function, select true. If you want to disable
it, select false.
Enther the actual main interface in this field.
This is the name of the interface.
This is the SNMP If Index of the interface.
Select true if you want to enable this interface. If you want to disable
it, select false.
Click this to save your changes.
Click this to restore your previously saved settings.
