7.5.1.7 Edit NAT
NAT (Network Address Translation - NAT, RFC 1631) is the translation of the IP
address of a host in a packet, for example, the source address of an outgoing
packet, used within one network to a different IP address known within another
network. You can enable or disable the NAT function in this screen.
Click the Edit NAT tab to show the following screen.

DESCRIPTION
Select true if you want to receive RIP version 1 routing information
packets. If not, select false.
Select true if you want to receive RIP version 2 routing information
packets. If not, select false.
Select true if you want to send RIP version 1 routing information
packets. If not, select false.
Select true if you want to send RIP version 2 routing information
packets. If not, select false.
Multicasting can reduce the load on non-router machines since they
generally do not listen to the RIP multicast address and so will not
receive the RIP packets.
Select true if you want to send multicast packets (suggested to use if
your LAN IP address is dynamic).
This function is available only when the Send V2 field is set to true.
Click this to save your changes.
Click this to restore your previously saved settings.
