Click Create a new user in the System > Authentication screen to add a new
user account. The screen appears as shown.

5.4 The SNMP Config Screen
5.4.1 About SNMP
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application layer protocol
used to manage and monitor TCP/IP-based devices. SNMP is used to exchange

Enter a descriptive name for the new user account.
Enter a new system password (up to 27 characters). Note that as you
type a password, the screen displays a (*) for each character you type.
After you change the password, use the new password to access the P-
794H.
If you want this user account to have the authority to log into the
system, select true. If not, select false.
You can type an optional comment for this user account.
Click Create to save your settings and create a new account.
Click Reset to restore your previously saved settings.
Click this if you want to cancel your settings and return to the
Authentication screen.
