DESCRIPTION
Click this to see a more detailed setup screen. See for the fields that
are not shown in this screen.
Select the connect state of the connection from the drop-down list.
Select true if you want the P-794H to act as a server. If not, select
false.
Select true if you want to create a route for directing packets to the
remote end of the PPP link. If not, select false.
Select true if you want the route created to be a specific route that
only applies to packets for the subnet at the remote end of the PPP
link. If not, select false.
Enter the subnet mask for this interface in dot decimal notation.
Enter the subnet mask used by this route in dot decimal notation.
Enter the Link Control Protocol (LCP) maximum parameter.
Enter the Link Control Protocol (LCP) maximum fail parameter.
Enter the Link Control Protocol (LCP) maximum terminate parameter.
Enter the PPP Event Level in this field.
Select true if you want to discover IP subnet from Internet Protocol
Control Protocol (IPCP). If not, select false.
Select the authentication method that remote PPP clients use to dial in
to the server. The choices are: none, chap, and pap.
Select the authentication method used to connect to external PPP
servers (dial-out). The choices are: none, chap, and pap.
Enter the Maximum Receive Unit (MRU) value which is negotiated
during the LCP protocol stage.
Select true if you want to obtain your local IP address from the PPP
negotiation. Select false if you do not want to receive the local IP.
Select true if you want to use the local IP address which was obtained
from the PPP negotiation. If not, select false.
Select true if the primary DNS server address is requested from a
remote PPP peer using Internet Protocol Control Protocol (IPCP). If
not, select false.
Select true if the secondary DNS server address is requested from a
remote PPP peer using Internet Protocol Control Protocol (IPCP). If
not, select false.
Select true if you want the IPCP to automatically give the DNS server
IP address to the local DNS relay to establish a connection. If not,
select false.
Select true if if you want the IPCP to automatically gives the DNS
server IP address to the local DNS client to establish a connection. If
not, select false.
You can configure the interval (in seconds) for the P-794H to send an
LCP echo request frame.
