Firmware

fwUpdate (12300)
Updates the firmware.
Syntax:
fwUpdate [host user password dir filename]
Options:
host
The name of the host where the firmware file resides.
user
The FTP user name.
password
The FTP user password.
dir
After logging in, the directory to cd to.
filename
The name of the firmware file.
Sample Output:
-> fwUpdate
Enter 1 for FTP, 2 for local file: 1
Ftp Server IP Address:[192.168.0.195]
Ftp username:[ftp] xxxxx
Ftp password:[ftp] xxxxx
File Directory:[PATH TO FIRMWARE FILE]
File name:[xxx.pkg]
NOTES: Firmware update works by using ftp to retrieve the firmware file, then writes
the file to flash. Omitting any of the options causes the user to be prompted for the
information.
fwUpdateSlot
Updates the firmware on a specific line card.
Syntax:
fwUpdateSlot slotnumber [host user password dir
filename]
