Battery Gauge
Removal and Installation
See Figure 4-42.
Required Materials
Dielectric Grease (Jacobsen PN 365422)
1. Park the mower safely. (See "Park Mower Safely" on
page 1-5.)
2. Remove battery pack cover. (See "Battery Pack" on
page 4-56.)

NOTES
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
3. Disconnect battery gauge positive leads (1).
4. Disconnect battery gauge negative lead (2) and
signal wire lead (3).
5. Remove screws (4), nuts (5), and battery gauge (6).
Installation Notes
• Install battery gauge by reversing the order of
removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
connectors removed.
• Install battery pack cover. (See "Battery Pack" on
page 4-56.)

3. Remove nylon screw (1), flat washers (2), lock
washer (4), and nut (3).
4. Remove fuse (5).
Installation Notes
• Install battery pack fuse by reversing the order of
removal.
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to flat
washers (2) prior to installation.
• Torque nut (3) to 25 lb-in. (2.82 N·m).
• Install battery pack cover. (See "Battery Pack" on
page 4-56.)
