.,,.STALLING SHIFT BAR HOUSING
1.
Place all three of the sliding clutches in transmission in the
neutral position (figure
13-179).

2. Apply white grease to new shift bar housing gasket and
. ,stall in position on case (figure 13-180).

3. Make sure shifting bars in housing are in the neutral position
(figure 13-181).

4. Install the shift bar housing on transmission. fitting yokes into
corresponding yoke slots of sliding gears. tighten capscrews
securely (figure 13-182).

5. Install the thirteen capscrews in flange holes of housing and
tighten, remembering to include the two lifting eyes in position on
housing corners opposite each other (figure 13-183).
