MC-9 MAINTENANCE MANUAL
REMOVAL
1. Make sure the coach is safely parked. Block the
wheels it necessary.
2.
Vent the air system completely, being sure that the
lines leading into and out of the air dryer are at atmospheric
pressure.
NOTE: Observe basic safety rulH

3.
Remove the metal Sh(OUd protecting the air dryer.

4.
Identify and disconnect the three air lines from the end
cover and note the position of the end cover ports relative to
the coach.
5.
Pull the boot from the thermostat and heater cover and
slide it onto the wire to expose the connection. Remove the
nut and disconnect the electrical wire from the thermostat
terminal.
6. Refer to figures 4-61 · and 4-62. Loosen the two
s116 x 4½"
hex bolts securing the mounting straps on the
back side of the dryer. Disengage the mounting bracket
hook from_ the end cover.
