10. Press the front bearing from output shaft (figure 13-29).

CLUTCH HOUSING REMOVAL
NOTE: The clutch housing can be removed
at any time during transmission disas-
sembly. However, it must be removed
before the two· countershafts can be
removed.
1. Remove the clutch release mechanism.
2. Remove the four bolts and remove the six nuts and lock
washers from studs at front of case (figure 13-30).
3. Break gasket seal and pull clutch housing from case
(figure 13-31 ).
