UTCH HOUSING INSTALLATION
1. Apply white grease to new clutch housing ga~ket and install
in position on case (figure 13-159).

2.
Place clutch housing in position on the six studs in front of
case. piloting on drive gear cover (figure 13-160).

3. Install the six nuts on studs with washers or lockwashers
and tighten to 180-190 ft lbs. (244-257 Nm) torque (figure 13-161 ).

4. Install the four bolts in clutch housing and tighten to 90-100
ft lbs. (122-135 Nm) torque (figure 13-162).
5. Install the clutch release mechanism.
