How to Install a Power Supply

Before You Begin
Complete this task:
"How to Remove a Power Supply" on page 48
What to Do
1. Make sure that the Phillips No. 2 captive screw on the new power supply is
completely unlocked.
Turn the screw counterclockwise until the side locking lever is fully contained in the
power supply.
2. Align the new power supply with its bay.
3. Slide the new power supply into the power supply bay until the power supply
connectors start to engage the connectors on the motherboard.
