2. Slide the CPU fan tray (fan tray 1) forward to free the CPU cage.
a. Loosen the Phillips No. 2 captive screw on the CPU fan tray.
b. Slide fan tray 1 forward, over the DVD-ROM cable, as far as the hooks allow.
