Before You Begin
If a CPU/memory module fails, POST diagnostics will alert ALOM to light the
system status Service Required LED.
Complete these tasks:
"How to Power Off the System" on page 23
"How to Slide the System Out of the Cabinet" on page 29
"How to Avoid Electrostatic Discharge" on page 44
"How to Remove the Top Cover" on page 34
What to Do
1. Identify the CPU/memory module to be removed.
