8.3.4 Procedures for Passive Monitoring the Upstream Devices while Emulating an HDMI Sink Device
with the Auxiliary Channel Analyzer on HDMI Devices
This subsection provides procedures for ACA passive and emulation monitoring of HDMI devices.
Note: You will have to obtain a license key for the ACA passive monitoring option to use the feature.
1. Connect the HDMI system devices to the 780B as shown in the diagram above and described as follows:
a. The HDMI source is connected to the 780B Upstream Link IN connector.
b. The HDMI repeater device input is connected the 780B Upstream Link OUT connector.
c. The HDMI repeater device output is connected to the 780B HDMI IN connector.
2. From the Home screen (shown below) touch select the Aux Channel Analyzer activation button.
The ACA Setup Options screen appears:
