8.3.2 Procedures for Passive Monitoring the Downstream Devices while Emulating an HDMI Source
Device with the Auxiliary Channel Analyzer on HDMI Devices
This subsection provides procedures for ACA passive and emulation monitoring of HDMI devices.
Note: You will have to obtain a license key for the ACA passive monitoring option to use the feature.
1. Connect the HDMI system devices to the 780B as shown in the diagram above and described as follows:
a. The 780B HDMI OUT connector is connected to the HDMI repeater device input connector.
b. The HDMI repeater device output is connected to the 780B Downstream Link IN connector.
c. The HDMI sink device (e.g. HDTV) is connected to the 780B Downstream Link OUT connector.
2. From the Home screen (shown below) touch select the Aux Channel Analyzer activation button.
