- Insert the speed sensor and tighten the locking
screw.
Locking torques (N*m)
Sensor bracket locking screw
- Check that the distance «X» between brake disc
and sensor is correct; otherwise insert the calibra-
ted washers between the sensor and bracket.
Characteristic
Tone wheel distance - Sensor X
0.9 ÷ 1.2 mm

Disc Inspection

- Remove the rear wheel.
- Use a calliper to check the disc thickness as
shown in the photograph.
- Repeat the measurement at no fewer than six
points on the disc.
- Remove the rear brake calliper.
- Place the dial gauge on the disc outer edge.
- Make the wheel hub turn and check the disc de-
viation.
