Recommendations for working materials

NOTE
The recommendations for oils given below
can only be guide values.
Hydraulic oil
Hydraulic oil recommendations for normal
applications:
Hydraulic oil ISO-L-HM 46 as per ISO 6743-4
or HLP ISO VG 46 as per DIN 51524 T.2
(factory filling) average constant temperature
of oil 40 °C -60 °C.
Hydraulic oil recommendations for heavy-duty
applications:
Hydraulic oil ISO-L-HM 68 as per ISO 6743-4
or HLP ISO VG 68 as per DIN 51524.T.2
average constant temperature of oil over 60
°C.
Hydraulic oil recommendations for light-duty
applications with low ambient temperatures:
Hydraulic oil ISO-L-HM 32 as per ISO 6743-4
or HLP ISO VG 32 as per DIN 51524.T.2
average constant temperature of oil under
40 °C.
Hydraulic oil recommendations for widely
varying conditions of usage:
All the above applications can be covered with
hydraulic oil ISO-L-HV 46 as per ISO 6743-4
or HVLP ISO VG 46 as per DIN 51524 T.3 .
NOTE
Such hydraulic oils have a high viscosity index
(multigrade oils).
Bio-hydraulic oil
Fast biodegradable hydraulic fluid
Aral Forbex SE 46

CAUTION
It is not permitted to mix bio-oil with mineral oil.
No recommendations for additional fluids from
other manufacturers can be made at the present
time.
If in doubt, we recommend obtaining the advice of
your authorised dealer.
Recommendations made by representatives from
the mineral oil industry should also be agreed with
your authorised dealer.
Manufacturer's approval only exists for the oils
specified above.
If they are mixed with other hydraulic fluids or other
hydraulic fluids are used, damage involving high
costs may result.
Transmission oil
Preferably SAE 80 W -90 API GL5, also
suitable SAE 85 W -90 API GL4 (as per DIN
51512)
Lubricating grease
Linde heavy-duty grease, lithium-saponified
with EP active ingredients and MOS
ignation as per DIN 51825-KPF 2N-20 (order
No. see spare parts list).
Mixing with lubricating grease types with a
soap basis other than lithium is not permitted .
Battery grease
Acid-free lubricating grease (terminal grease).
Chain spray
Linde chain spray (order No. see SP list).
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Used oil must be kept away from children until
disposed of according to the regulations. Un-
der no circumstances should oil be allowed
to get into the mains drainage or the ground
. Due to the problem of disposal (necessary
specialist knowledge), changing the trans-
mission oil should preferably be performed by
your authorised dealer.
