Inspection and maintenance every 500 to 1000 operating hours or once a year
Duplex or triplex lift mast
NOTE
The lift mast chain stretches over time during
operation and therefore has to be readjusted.
Tilt lift mast right back and fully lower fork
carriage.
Release counter nut (1).
Adjust chain at adjusting nut (2) of chain
anchor.
The lower guide roller of the fork carriage
should only protrude max. 25 mm from the
guide rail of the internal lift mast .
Tighten counter nut (1) securely.
CAUTION
When extended, the lift mast should not touch the
end stops.
Fully extend lift mast and check clearance to end
stops.
NOTE
Reseal adjusting and counter nuts.
Apply chain spray.
NOTE
In the case of forklift trucks which are used in
the food production sector chain spray should
not be used but a low-viscosity oil licensed for
use in the food industry .
Apply Linde chain spray to guide surfaces
and chain.

Check hose carrier

NOTE
For vehicles with Duplex or Triplex lift masts
and additional hydraulic attachments there is
a hose carrier within the lift mast, which serves
to tension and guide the double hoses.
