Wheel gear oil change (with wheels
attached)
ENVIRONMENT NOTE
Take note of information about working mate-
rials.
Warm up wheel gear.
NOTE
The oil change can be carried out in different
steps.
Drive the forklift truck with the drive axle
just over the pit until the checking screw (1)
is at the " 5 o'clock" position and the filling
screw (2) is at the top.
Clean the area around around the check-
ing screw (1,) filling screw (2) and drain
plug (3) .
Unscrew the checking and filling screws.
Place a collection vessel under the drain
plug (3) .
Unscrew the drain plug (3) and allow all the
transmission oil to drain off.
Clean the magnetic plug of the drain plug
(3).
Screw the drain plug (3) securely back in.
Tightening torque 20 Nm.
Add approx. 250 cm
the filling screw hole until oil escapes from
the screwhole of the checking screw (1) .
Screw the screws (1 and 2) securely back
in.
Tightening torque 20 Nm
Repeat the transmission oil change on the
second wheel gear.
