Battery replacement

NOTE
With standard trucks the side battery door can
only be moved 90 degrees to the right. The
battery should be replaced using a crane in
conjunction with a C-hook, a suitable bearing
load and lifting gear or with a truck. Please
contact your authorised dealer.
DANGER
There is an increased risk of accidents when repla-
cing batteries with warehouse trucks, e.g. a lifting
truck .
Only vehicles with a suitable bearing load and suf-
ficient fork length should only be used when repla-
cing batteries.

WARNING
If batteries are replaced while bearing a load, there
is a risk the truck will tip over as well as a risk of
accidents to the driver and anyone who happens to
be passing by.
It is not permitted to replace batteries while bearing
a load under any circumstances. The load must
be set down or the fork arms must fully rest on the
ground .
CAUTION
The new battery must correspond to the standard
model in terms of size and weight .
Any variation in weight must be offset using additi-
onal weights.
Secure battery from slipping.
