Clean truck

The need for cleaning depends on use of the
truck. If highly aggressive media are involved,
e.g. salt water, fertiliser, chemicals, cement
etc., thorough cleaning is required after finish-
ing the work assignment.
Hot steam or cleaning materials with a power-
ful degreasing effect should only be used with
great caution as this will affect the grease filling
of bearings with lifetime lubrication , causing it
to escape. As relubrication is not possible, the
bearings will be irreparably damaged.
When using compressed air for cleaning, re-
move stubborn soiling with cold cleaner .
During cleaning pay special attention to the oil
filler openings and the surrounding areas as
well as the lubricating nipples prior to greas-
ing.
CAUTION
Never wash truck when switched on.
Switch off truck entirely.
CAUTION
When cleaning with a water jet (high-pressure or
steam cleaner etc.) , it should not be applied di-
rectly to the area of the front axle, electric and elec-
tronic components, connector plugs or insulating
material. Water should not be used for cleaning in
the area of the central electrical system and switch
console.
If this is unavoidable, the parts concerned should
be covered up beforehand or only cleaned with a
dry cloth or clean compressed air.
