Half Crankcase, Clutch Side; Semicarter, Lato Frizione - Rotax Leonardo 120 Workshop Manual

• Carefully insert the crankshaft into the bearings, without
forcing it.
I Caution:
Do not damage the bearings with the tooth
profile R!
• To set the end float correctly, fit the thrust washer T on to
the crankshaft, clutch side.
Required end float: 0.2 - 0.4 mm
• Place the gasket Y on the half crankcase. Cut the top bridge
U on the gasket.

Note: Remember the following points:
• The gasket must correspond to all the
through holes.
• Work carefully to avoid causing leaks.

Half crankcase, clutch side

• Thoroughly lubricate the flat surface and the bearings
(without grooves) on the half crankcase, clutch side Q.
• Grease the oil seal sealing lip W with BP - ENERGREASE.
I Caution:
Lubricate all the bearing journals copiously.
This will insure that they will be adequately
lubricated when the engine is first started
up, and will insure long life and trouble free
operation of the refitted engine.
• Carefully fit the half crankcase, clutch side Q, on to the half
crankcase, flywheel side E. Fit the half crankshaft with
great care, insuring that it slides straight onto the crank. Be
careful not to cock it.

• Inserire l'albero motore con cautela nelle bronzine senza
forzare.
I Attenzione: Non danneggiare le bronzine con il profilo
dentato R!
• Per ottenere il gioco assiale corretto, montare il rasamento
T sull'albero motore, lato frizione.
Gioco assiale necessario: 0,2 - 0,4 mm
• Mettere la guarnizione Y sul semicarter. Tagliare il ponte
U superiore della guarnizione.

Nota: Far attenzione ai punti seguenti:
• La guarnizione deve corrispondere con
tutti i fori di passaggio.
• Lavorare con cautela per evitare perdite.

Semicarter, lato frizione

• Lubrificare bene la superficie piana e le bronzine (senza
gola) del semicarter, lato frizione Q.
• Ingrassare il labbro di tenuta del paraolio W con BP -
2
ENERGREASE.
I Attenzione: Una lubrificazione abbondante di tutte le
sedi bronzine garantisce la sicurezza al
primo avviamento e la durata del motore
rimontato.
• Montare con cautela il semicarter, lato frizione Q, sul
semicarter, lato volano E. Far attenzione di non montarlo
inclinato.
