Warning: Spare parts must meet the technical requirements specified by the
manufacturer. This can be assured only if original ROTAX spare parts
and/or accessories are used (see spare parts catalogue)! The use of
non original ROTAX spare parts and/or accessories will annul all forms
of ROTAX warranty.

Caution: Any alterations to the engine or components of its accessory parts
(carburetor, inlet and exhaust system, variator, etc.) not approved by
ROTAX will annul all ROTAX warranty obligations.

Caution: It is absolutely essential to keep to the scheduled servicing times and
comply with all other technical information if the engine is to have a long
life and be fully efficient in use.

Caution: All faults, big or small, must be put right immediately to avoid causing
further damage.

Caution: All servicing and repair work on the engine, on or off the vehicle, must
be performed with the engine turned off and the panel key in the "OFF"
position.

Caution: Do not turn on the engine until all the wires have been connected up
and the cap has been fitted on the spark plug.

Warning: All servicing and repair work must be performed in compliance with
safety and environmental safeguard regulations. Certain regulations
are quoted in the Manual. The safety regulations stated by the vehicle
manufacturer must also be observed.

Caution: Certain parts of the engine, most particularly the cylinder, cylinder
head, and exhaust system become extremely hot during operation.
Insure that the engine has cooled completely before service operations
are undertaken. Failure to observe this warning can result in serious
burns.

Attenzione: Modifiche sul motore e componenti su particolari complementari al
motore (carburatore, sistema d'aspirazione e di scarico, variatore ecc.)
non approvati da ROTAX escludono ogni obbligo di garanzia di ROTAX.

Attenzione: È assolutamente necessario per la durata del motore e per la completa
efficienza di utilizzo del motore di rispettare gli intervalli di manutenzione
previsti e tutte le altre informazioni tecniche.

Attenzione: Riparare anche piccoli difetti immediatamente, per evitare danni
maggiori.

Attenzione: Eseguire tutti i lavori di manutenzione o riparazione sul motore, anche
se installato sul mezzo, solo con motore spento e chiave del quadro
in "OFF".

Attenzione: Accendere il motore solo con tutti i cavi collegati ed il cappuccio
candela inserito.

Avvertenza: Eseguire i lavori di manutenzione e riparazione rispettando le direttive
di sicurezza ed ambientali. Nel Manuale vengono accennate direttive
particolari. Inoltre rispettare le direttive di sicurezza del costruttore del
mezzo.

Avvertenza: Alcune parti del motore, in particolare il cilindro, la testata e il sistema
di scarico, diventano molto calde durante il funzionamento. Accertarsi
che il motore si sia raffreddato completamente prima di effettuare
interventi su di esso. La mancata osservanza di questa precauzione
può provocare gravi ustioni
