• To measure the piston ring gap Y , introduce each piston ring
40 mm into the cylinder (measured from the cylinder head
surface) U and align it horizontally with the piston, making
sure that the piston is within the wear limit.
➪Measure the gap, using a feeler gauge I .

• Fit the 3 piston rings Q, W an E as shown in the figure,
with the word "TOP" at the top.
• Using a feeler gauge I, measure the end float of thepiston
rings in their seats.

• Per determinare la luce Y del segmento, inserire ogni
segmento nel cilindro per 40 mm (misurando dalla superficie
testata) U ed allinearlo orizzontalmente con il pistone,
essendo sicuri che il cilindro sia entro il limite di usura.
