Variator cover centering pins
➪Replace the pin O only if damaged.
Remove:
• If the pins O have to be removed, heat the pin housing area
on the external wall of the half crankcase with the hot air
blower P (approx. 100° C) and extract the pin by pulling and
turning it with pliers.
Refit:
• Carefully insert the pins in the outside of the unheated half
crankcase, tapping them fully home with a plastic hammer
{.
Crankcase bush for shock absorber suspension
➪The crankcase bush must be replaced Qif damaged.
Remove:
• Remove with a jig W (Ø 21 mm), pressing in from the
exterior.

➪Bisogna sostituire la spina O solo se danneggiata.
Smontaggio:
• Se le spine O devono essere estratte, riscaldare la zona
della sede della spina alla parete esterna del semicarter
con phon P (ca. 100° C) ed estrarre la spina con una pinza,

con un movimento rotatorio.

Montaggio:
• Inserire con cautela le spine dall'esterno nel semicarter
freddo fino in fondo, con martello in plastica {.

➪La sostituzione della boccola carter Q è necessaria se
danneggiata.
Smontaggio:
• Lo smontaggio si esegue con un tampone W (Ø 21 mm)
premendo dall'esterno verso l'interno.
