Main bearings
➪Check for signs of damage or wear on the internal faces of
the bearings W, applying the usual criteria for bearings.
Check the diameter with a bore gaugeQ.
I Caution:
measurement I: 90° to separation sur-
measurementII: 60° to first measurement
measurement III: 120° to first measure-
wear limit
I Caution:
No value must exceed the wear limit.
Removing the bearings:
N Note:
The bearings can be removed without heating
the half crankcase.
• Clamp the extractor E in a press of minimum capacity 4000
N and hold the bearing seat inside the half crankcase with
a spacer sleeve (length approx.30 mm, int. diam. min. 36
mm).

• Carefully remove the bearings, taking them from the outside
towards the inside of the crankcase.
• Clean around the diameter of the bearing seat in the
crankcase.
Refitting the bearings:
I Caution:
The bearings R with no internal lubrication
groove must be on the clutch side half
crankcase, and are fitted by inserting them
from the outside towards the inside of the half
crankcase.

➪Controllare se le superfici interne delle bronzine W sono
danneggiate o usurate, secondo i criteri abituali per bronzine.
Controllare il diametro con un alesametro Q.

• Bloccare il tampone estrattore E in una pressa di capacità
minima di 4000 N e sostenere la sede bronzina all'interno
del semicarter con un tubo distanziale (lunghezza ca. 30
mm, diam. interno min. 36 mm).
Attrezzatura specifica
• Estrarre le bronzine con cautela dall'esterno verso l'interno
del carter.
4 • Pulire il diametro sede delle bronzine nel carter.
Montaggio delle bronzine:
I Attenzione: Le bronzine R del semicarter, lato frizione,
90° relativo alla super-
ficie di separazione
misurazione II: 60° alla prima misuraz.
misurazione III: 120° alla prima misuraz.

riscaldare il semicarter.
Tampone estrattore
codice ROTAX 0277 530
devono essere quelle senza una gola di
lubrificazione interna e vengono inserite
dall'esterno verso l'interno del semicarter.
