• Screw on the 2 half crankcases lightly with 3 M6x60 Allen
screws R, 2 M6x30 Allen screws T and 5 M6x80 Allen
screws Y in the area of the water outlet union (marked
„Coolant") and the oil filter, putting a copper gasket X under
the Allen screw next to the water outlet union.
• Tighten up all the screws in diagonal sequence, working
from the inside towards the outside.

• Using a knife, cut off the protruding part of the crankcase
gasket in the cylinder flange and cylinder centering area.

Note:
After joining together the half crankcases
make sure that the connecting rod does not
damage the crankcase gasket contact
surfaces with scoring and dents. To prevent
this kind of damage, secure the connecting
rod I by passing a crossed-over O-ring O
through the center of the and tying it to the
4 stud bolts P, and protecting the cylinder
base on the crankcases with a cloth.
• Turn the crankshaft a few times to make sure it runs freely.
I Caution:
The crankshaft must turn freely. If it doesn't,
you must remove the crankcase and find
the cause.
• Check the end float.

Note:
Check the end float by pushing the
crankshaft by hand in the direction of its
axis.

• Avvitare leggermente i 2 semicarter con 3 viti a brugola

• Serrare diagonalmente tutte le viti dall'interno verso l'esterno.

• Tagliare le sporgenze della guarnizione carter nella zona

• Far girare l'albero motore alcune volte, controllandone il

• Controllare il gioco assiale.

e del filtro olio, mettendo una guarnizione in rame X sotto
la vite a brugola vicino al raccordo scarico acqua.

1 vite a brugola M6 con guarnizione in rame
della flangia cilindro e del centraggio cilindro con un
coltello.

Nota:
Dopo l'accoppiamento dei semicarter far
attenzione che la biella non danneggi la
superficie di tenuta del carter e che non
crei delle righe o ammaccature. Per evitare
questi tipi di danneggiamenti, fissare la
biella I fra i 4 prigionieri P e l'occhio della
biella per mezzo di un anello OR O
incrociato e proteggere la base cilindro dei
carter con un panno.

I Attenzione: L'albero motore deve girare liberamente,
altrimenti bisogna smontare il carter e
determinarne la causa.

Nota:
Controllare il gioco assiale spingendo l'albero
motore a mano nel senso assiale.
