Instruction Manual
Sections 7.2 and 7.3 describe procedures for performing manual Zero and Span Calibrations on
your analyzer.
To perform a CHECK of the instrument's Zero or Span Calibration follow the same steps,
however, DO NOT press the ENTR key at the end of each operation.
Pressing the ENTR key resets the stored values for OFFSET and SLOPE and alters the
instruments Calibration.
When performing a CHECK ZERO, press the EXIT key to end the procedure.
7.2. Manual Calibration without Zero/Span
Valves
This is the basic method for manually calibrating the Model 300E CO Analyzer
without functioning Zero/Span Valve options. It is identical to the method
described in the GETTING STARTED section of this manual and is repeated her for
you convenience.
STEP ONE: Connect the Sources of Zero Air and Span Gas as shown below.
