Increasing Program Speed

Because the analyzer's CPU interleaves processing measurements and executing a program,
program execution speed depends on the measurement conditions. The display process also
requires processing time.
To increase program speed (increase throughput), set the analyzer to the following conditions:
If you do not need to measure the
HOLD.
If you need to measure the
DISPLAY ALLOCATION to ALL BASIC.
If you need to measure the
function, preset all markers.
When you use the I/O port, use the
to the port directly.
If you change channels in a program, set Dual Channel to ON before changing channels to
avoid the setup time for the channel.
For example, when you change channels in a program, set Dual Channel to ON and Display
Allocation to All BASIC to decrease the switching time between channels 1 and 2.
