4K and 3D Support
High bandwidth allows extension of resolutions up to 4K and even 3D sources and displays are
supported.
Advanced Audio
Direct analog audio connection support to ease system integration. Advanced controls help to
inter-operate with an audio subsystem, audio sources or speakers directly.
Advanced EDID Management
Any EDID can be emulated on the inputs independently, read and store the attached monitor's
EDID in internal memory, upload and download EDID files using Lightware Device Controller.
Audio Embedder and De-embedder Function
The analog audio can be embedded to HDMI outputs and embedded audio can be routed to
the analog audio output.
Audio Input Block for Microphone and Line-in
Special Audio Input block with input ports for microphone and line-in. The built-in sound mixer
allows for free mixing of the microphone, the line-in and the de-embedded audio.
Basic IT-security
LWR
These entry-level network security improvements help to prevent unauthorized access to the
Lightware device: cleartext login, TCP port blocking and MAC address filtering.
Batch of Commands
A batch of LW3 commands (salvo) can be run by the Lightware device either by a previously
stored macro or by sending a file to the device with the desired commands.
Consumer Electronics Control (CEC)
CEC
Supports transmitting standard CEC commands in order to remote control the source or sink
device.
DSP
The built-in DSP in select Lightware products provides audio mixer services including fader,
ducking, equalizer, mute, balance and gain.
Event Manager
The Event Manager tool takes care of all the necessary control in a smaller configuration by
performing predefined actions in response to device status changes.
Event Manager +
Triggering a condition, defining variables and checking two conditions for an action – these
features are available by the improved Event Manager.

Frame Detector
The exact video and audio signal format can be determined such as timing, frequencies, scan
mode, HDCP encryption, color range, color space and audio sample rate.
Graphic Display and Rotary Jog Dial Control Knob
Easy setting and menu navigation are assured by the color graphic display and the comfortable
jog dial control.
GPIO Control Port
6 GPIO pins operating at TTL digital signal levels and can be controlled with both LW2 and LW3
commands.
HDCP-compliant
The receiver fulfills the HDCP standard. HDCP capability on the digital video inputs can be
disabled when non-protected content is extended.
Infra Code Sending
IR code sending in Pronto Hex format – in Command injection mode, too. The code sending is
available as an Action in Event manager, too.
Miniweb
The Miniweb is able to display an adaptive surface with a virtual crosspoint and buttons for
Event manager Actions. The miniweb can be displayed in a mobile device, too.
Pixel Accurate Reclocking
Each output has a clean, jitter free signal, eliminating signal instability and distortion caused by
long cables or connector reflections.
Relay
Controllable relay modules up to 30V, 1A support.
Remote Power (PoE)
Remote power (PoE-compatible) can be sent via the TPS ports to a compatible Powered
Device (PD).
RS-232 Recognizer
Support recognizing incoming RS-232 messages to integrate with 3rd party devices like the
video conference codec devices.
TCP Recognizer
Support recognizing the incoming TCP messages to integrate with 3rd party devices like the
video conference codec devices.
USB 2.0 Switch – 4x1
The USB 2.0 layer provides the switching of four external USB peripherals (e.g. webcamera,
speakerphone, multitouch display, etc.) to four independent host computers or laptops.
