1:1 Redundancy System Cabling and Installation
• Chapter 2. SYSTEM CONNECTORS, INSTALLATION, AND STARTUP
• Appendix B. CABLE DRAWINGS
Figure A-3 shows the schematic diagram for cabling 1:1 Redundancy applications. For any 1:1
Redundancy System setup, care should be exercised in cable installation:
•
Install the cables using the most direct route – avoid all sharp bends.
•
Secure all cables with clamps and ties.
For details about the cables used in both Standalone and 1:1 Redundancy applications, see
Appendix B. CABLE DRAWINGS.
A.3.1 Cable Sealing and Wrapping
Before you operate your equipment, you MUST make sure that all external cable
assemblies for the outdoor equipment are properly sealed to prevent water
intrusion. Failure to achieve water tight sealing will result in possible
performance degradation and even product failure.
To maintain your product warranty, you must follow the guidelines and
recommendations provided in Section 2.2 Cable Seaing and Wrapping
(Chapter 2. SYSTEM CONNECTORS, INSTALLATION, AND STARTUP).
