Security Alarm Activations

Note
Confirm that system components are properly installed before using the system.
If a Window Opens While the Security Alarm is Active
If a window is opened while the security alarm is active, the magnet switch activates,
and the system triggers the security alarm.
(The base unit Security SET indicator appears in green while the security alarm is active.)
The event is reported to the building manager room and door phone approximately 40 seconds
Note
(default setting) after the magnet switch activates.
Disarm the security alarm at the base unit within 40 seconds if the alarm is a false detection.
All indicators and icons turn off after the security alarm is disabled. See page 195 for more information
on disarming alarms.

The alarm stops approximately 80 seconds
after the magnet switch activates. Note that
the indicators on the base unit, sub-base unit,
and door phone continue to flash.
●
Approximately 3 minutes after the magnet
switch activates, the Security 1 icon turns off,
and the area around the MENU button will
flash in red.
● The Security 1 icon can also be turned off

Up to 4 security circuits can be connected.
The screen display appears in accordance
with the configured installation settings.
How to stop the alarm sound
●
Press the STOP ALARM button.
The alarm can also be turned off from
the building manager room.
How to disable the security alarm
● Disarm the security alarm at the base unit.
( Page 195)
The indicators stop flashing and then the
"Security has been turned off." message will
be played.

The system can be configured to not stop the alarm approximately 80 seconds after the

● Settings options for the security alarm delay time and the security preliminary alarm
time include approximately 30, approximately 60 approximately 120 and 0 seconds
(off, immediate), when delay times are allowed to be changed if "Permit changes to
delay settings: Yes" is set in the installation setting. (
The Security 1 default settings are as follows.
Security alarm delay time: Off (0 seconds, alarm starts immediately)
Security preliminary alarm: Off (0 seconds, alarm starts immediately)
● Reports to the building manager room and door phone can be sent immediately.
● Playback of the alarm from the door phone can be disabled.
● Reports made to the building manager room can also be disabled.
● The screen displayed during security alarms can also be changed.
