If the Front Entrance Door is Opened While the Security Alarm is Active
If the front entrance door is opened while the security alarm is active, the magnet switch activates,
and the system triggers the security preliminary alarm.
(The base unit Security SET indicator appears in green while the security alarm is active.)
The event is reported to the building manager room and door phone approximately 100 seconds
Note
(default setting) after the magnet switch activates.
Disarm the security alarm at the base unit if the alarm is a false detection within 100 seconds.
All indicators and icons turn off after the security alarm is disabled. See page 195 for more information
on disarming alarms.
How to stop the alarm sound
● Press the STOP ALARM button.
How to disable the security preliminary alarm
● Disarm the security preliminary alarm at the base
unit. ( Page 195)
The indicators stop flashing and then the "Security
has been turned off." message will be played.

Setting security preliminary alarms can be
disabled. Instead, only a "beep" will be
triggered.
● Settings options for the security system
alarm time and the security preliminary
alarm time include approx. 30, approx.
60, approx.120 and 0 seconds (off,
immediate), when delay times are
allowed to be changed if "Permit changes
to delay settings: Yes" is set in the
installation setting. ( Pages 108 to 109)
The Security 2 default settings are as
follows.
Security alarm delay time:
After approximately 60 seconds
Security preliminary alarm time:
After approximately 60 seconds
● Reports to the building manager room
and door phone can be sent
immediately.
● Playback of the alarm from the door
phone can be disabled.
● Reports made to the building manager
room can also be disabled.
● The screen displayed during security
alarms can also be changed.
