Using the Detailed Earthquake Intensity Display

When an Earthquake is Expected
If earthquake alarm (prediction) information is received, the system reports the event with
screen displays and sounds.
● The earthquake alert (prediction) message
stops automatically, and the earthquake icon
turns off after approximately 1 minute ( ).

The system can be configured to stop the earthquake
alert (prediction) message automatically and to turn off
the earthquake alert after a specified amount of time
(can be less than 1 minute) after the building starts
shaking.
● The message volume can be adjusted.
