Pay attention to the negative and positive polarities of the power supply. If the polarities are
connected incorrectly, the device may be burned.
Step 6 Configure the new hydrogen collector based on the DIP switch settings for the removed
hydrogen collector.
Step 7 Switch on the circuit breaker of the hydrogen collector, and check whether it is working
properly.

Follow-up Procedure
Dispose of the removed hydrogen collector that is confirmed faulty.

5.3.7 Replacing a Hydrogen Exhaust Fan

Preparations
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, cable cutter, insulation tape, step ladder, protective gloves
Material: quick-connect terminals, spare hydrogen exhaust fan
Document: power supply and distribution system diagram
Skill requirement: weak-current engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the power circuit breaker of the hydrogen collector.
Step 2 Open the cable trough, and cut off the power cable to the hydrogen exhaust fan using a cable
cutter.
Issue 01 (2016-01-10)
If the hydrogen density displayed on the hydrogen collector, the hydrogen collector is working properly.
A hydrogen exhaust fan needs to be replaced.
A spare hydrogen exhaust fan of the same model is available and functional.

Reserve a segment of the power cable at the quick-connect terminal when cutting the power cable to the
hydrogen exhaust fan.
