Documents required: collector port layout diagram, documents delivered with the ECC500
collector, initial configuration parameters for the management system
Skill requirement: weak-current engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Remove all cables and mark the cables clearly.
Step 2 Remove the four captive screws from the ECC500 collector using a Phillips screwdriver, as
shown in
Figure 5-26 Removing the faulty ECC500 collector
Step 3 Install a new collector, and tighten the screws in reverse order of
Step 4 Reconnect all cables based on the cable labels.
Step 5 Start the ECC500 collector and check that the new collector is working properly.
Step 6 Configure the ECC500 collector and ports based on the management system initial
configuration table for the solution in use.
