5.2.6 Replacing a Thermal Insulation Layer

Preparations
Tools: utility knife, glue for installing thermal insulation foam, tinfoil adhesive, brush,
protective gloves
Materials: thermal insulation foam, dry rag
Documents required: none
Skill requirement: cooling engineer
Procedure
Step 1 (Optional) Open the aisle floor.
Step 2 Remove the thermal insulation foam from a pipe.
Step 3 Wipe off the condensate water from the surface of the pipe.
Issue 01 (2016-01-10)
A thermal insulation layer needs to be replaced.
A spare thermal insulation layer of the same model is available and functional.
