6.3 Overload Emergency Operations

Prerequisites
An overload alarm is generated.
Procedure
Step 1 Locate the cable or device based on the alarm information.
Step 2 Check the overloaded cable or device and locate the fault.

Analyze the cause of the fault, and work out and record the preventive measures.

6.4 Emergency Operations for Battery Electrolyte Leakage

Prerequisites
The battery electrolyte leaks.
Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the circuit breaker corresponding to the battery string where the electrolyte leakage
occurs.
Step 2 Replace the battery that has electrolyte leakage. For details, see
Battery.
Before the replacement, get ready protective gloves and the tool used to clean the electrolyte.
Step 3 After replacing the battery and cleaning the leaked electrolyte, verify that the battery is
properly connected in the UPS5000-E system.
Step 4 Check that the battery is ready for power-on, and switch on the circuit breaker in the battery
cabinet.

If the cable or device is seriously overloaded, immediately power off the device and its lower-level
devices.
Ignore the alarm generated after the circuit breaker in the cabinet is switched off.
