The iSCSI Configuration File
The iSCSI configuration file consists of a series of blocks consisting of the following types of iSCSI
entity blocks:
1. global
2. target
There can be only one global entity block whereas multiple target entity blocks are allowed. The
global entity block is optional but there must be at least one target entity block.
An entity block begins with a block type (global or target). The content of each entity block is a list
of parameters specified in a "key=value" format. An entity block ends at the beginning of the next
entity block or at the end-of-file.
