Possible causes/consequences and
The tyre pressure monitor yellow warning lamp (pressure loss / mal‐
function) lights up.
The tyre pressure monitor has detected a tyre pressure loss in at least
one tyre.
& WARNING Risk of an accident due to insufficient tyre pressure
Tyres with insufficient tyre pressure pose the following risks:
The tyres may burst, especially as the load and vehicle speed

increase.
The tyres may wear excessively and/or unevenly, which may
R
greatly impair tyre traction.
‑ The driving characteristics, steering and braking may be
R
greatly impaired.
You could then lose control of the vehicle.
Observe the recommended tyre pressures.

Adjust the tyre pressure if necessary.

Stop the vehicle in a safe location.
#
Check the tyre pressure and the tyres.
