16. REMOVE FRONT AND REAR PROPELLER
SHAFTS
(a) Put matchmarks on the flanges.
(b) Remove the four bolts and nuts.
(c) Remove the four nuts.
(d) Remove the propeller shaft.
17. DISCONNECT SPEEDOMETER CABLE
18. DISCONNECT GROUND STRAP FROM BODY
19. DISCONNECT TWO VACUUM HOSES FROM
DIAPHRAGM CYLINDER FOR TRANSFER
20. DISCONNECT TRANSFER SHIFT LEVER
(a) Remove the clip and pin, and disconnect the shift
rod from the transfer.
(b) Remove the nut and then disconnect the washers
and the transfer shift lever with shift rod.
