PASSENGER COMPARTMENT CONNECTION UNIT
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
a Remove the glovebox (5) (see Glovebox: Removal
- Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a
WARNING
T o avoid permanently locking the steering col-
umn lock, never fit a UCH that has been previ-
ously used on another vehicle.
UCH: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the bolt (6) from the UCH.
a Raise the UCH at (7) to detach the clips (8) , then
pull the UCH towards you (9) .
a Disconnect the UCH connectors.
a Remove the UCH.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Connect the UCH connectors.
a Refit the UCH on its mounting.
II - FINAL OPERATION
LEFT-HAND DRIVE
a Refit the passenger compartment fuse and relay
box.
a Clip on the absorbing material.
a Refit the dashboard lower trim (see Dashboard
lower trim: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior
equipment).
