PASSENGER COMPARTMENT CONNECTION UNIT

Diagnostic tool
WARNING
To avoid permanently locking the steering column
lock, never fit a UCH that has been previously used
on another vehicle.
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal - Refitting, page 80A-4) .
LEFT-HAND DRIVE
a Remove the dashboard lower trim (1) (see Dash-
board lower trim: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Inte-
rior equipment).
UCH: Removal - Refitting

a Unclip the absorbing material (2) .
a Remove the bolt (3) from the passenger compart-
ment relay/fuse box.
a Remove the passenger compartment relay/fuse box
at (4) .
a Move aside the passenger compartment relay/fuse
box.
