Side curtain airbag: Removal - Refitting
a Twist the bracket mounting at (5) using a flat screw-
driver.
B91 or K91
a Pull the side curtain airbag up towards the brackets
to release them.
a Remove:
- the brackets (6) ,
- the bolts (7) from the side curtain airbag generator.
D91
a Pull the side curtain airbag up towards the brackets
125378 to release them.
a Remove:
- the brackets (8) ,
- the bolts (9) from the side curtain airbag generator.
a Remove the curtain airbag.
REFITTING

IMPORTANT
After a seat belt pyrotechnic component is trig-
gered, it is essential to replace certain parts (see
88C, Air bag and Pretensioners, Airbag and
pretensioners: Precautions for the repair,
page 88C-7) .
IMPORTANT
In order to ensure the side curtain airbag clips
hold, never refit a side curtain airbag which has
been removed.
a parts always to be replaced: Curtain side airbag
(31,02,01,40).
