glass, and angled inspection
mirror to visually examine the
hollow inner diameter bore of
the crankshaft bore (Figure 22),
starting at the crankshaft flange
end.

Comments
Replace a damaged or cracked
crankshaft.
Replace the crankshaft if there is
any raised metal on surfaces.
Replace the crankshaft if there is
any scratch, ding, dent, or pit that
exceeds 0.050 in. (1.27 mm)
depth.
